Jan was an absolute pleasure to have as our DJ. From the beginning, his organization, passion, and affordability really stood out to us. Given that our wedding was during the pandemic, we were unable to have a dance floor, so we had to improvise a lot of activities that we could do, and a lot of the responsibility for running these activities ultimately fell on our DJ- including karaoke, and music bingo. Jan did such a great job leading all of these activities, and all of our guests commented on how much fun they had at our wedding in spite of there being no dancing. Jan also kept the amazing soundtrack playing throughout the evening to keep everyone entertained. Don’t let Jan’s soft-spoken nature fool you- he is an amazing DJ and great with all things entertainment! He even came to our rescue in helping us set up our flameless sparklers, despite these not being part of his set-up. And we were also able to rent out a stunning fog machine from him for our first dance as well, which he executed perfectly. I would highly recommend Jan as a DJ for any wedding!

We’ve finally had a few days to relax and enjoy married life and Todd and I just wanted to say thank you so much for everything! Everyone had such a good time and you were a huge part of that! We had so many people tell us the next day how much they enjoyed the music and how much fun they had! We honestly can’t thank you enough for making everything so easy on us with no stress you made the planning process actually enjoyable.
Thanks so much again for everything we honestly wouldn’t have changed a thing everything was absolutely perfect!

Jan was just fantastic to work with from start to finish. We met him at a tasting our venue hosted and we really enjoyed the dinner music he played. After speaking to him he has so much knowledge of what we should be looking for and answered all our questions. He’s got a relaxed vibe to him and was always very diligent to get the details of our day just as we wanted it and I appreciated him taking the time to make sure it was everything we’d hoped for. Our dance floor started and NEVER stopped till the lights when on and the party was over. You know it’s a fun night when the bride and groom stay till the end!

1000 Islands Wedding Events
It was a real honour to be a part of this absolutely spectacular wedding day set on the historic grounds of the private Assiniboine lodge in the 1000 islands region. Held on the harvest moon, paying homage to the annual black tie event that the family would host for decades on this same night, the historic significance was very special. The backdrop was fairytale like, the atmosphere was electrifying and the dancing was something else!! Thank you Micah & Joe for having us be a part of your most special day! All the best in your new chapter as husband and wife🥂
