Jan was an excellent DJ for our wedding and we would absolutely recommend him. We weren’t living in Ottawa during the planning process so our first meeting was over the phone where he explained his DJ notes that he had sent us to fill out. These were very helpful in determining what important songs we needed to have. You can tell Jan has experience in the industry as he knows what couples will traditionally do but also gives you the option to be as non-traditional as you want. We met with him about 2 weeks before our wedding where he addressed small details we hadn’t even thought of! By the end of our meeting he knew exactly what we were looking for and we had complete confidence in him for our wedding day. We were totally pleased with the service he provided. His selection of music for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dance was exactly what we were looking for! We highly recommend CaptivSounds as a DJ service!
